What a bunch of crap. A couple people complain about the coverage of wrestling on here and in response get the power fist waved around. Don't turn this into a "troll attempt" by Pin. If you are going to be that strict and sensitive you could find a so called troll attempts in nearly every thread on this site. Don't single Pin out like that. He is one of the best contributors to this site. Not to mention he made this site money by all of his traffic he brought in from his work to cover wrestling here for free.
Jon doesn't want to hand over the keys and he doesn't want to or have time to do it himself. So it looks like nothing is going to change here. That's fine. Pretty sure wrestling junkies know elsewhere to find quality coverage. Nothing wrong with trying to encourage this site to get on par with the rest of Hawkeye sites. Even if the encouragement comes in unconventional methods.

My God if what pin posted is considered trolling now-a-days then this entire site is going to self implode as 95% of the posters say much worse on a daily basis. If we're going to be such sticklers on the rules, so far in this thread I have seen the following rules broken (excluding anything pin said):
2) No flame wars with fellow posters. Posts will be removed solely at my discretion. I won't see all of them, but when I do they will be taken down and users may be banned. This doesn't mean you can't debate, just keep away from personal attacks.
4) Repetitive negative posting by the same user may result in that user being banned. This isn't to say criticism isn't allowed, but broken records are discouraged. We got the point the first time. Also, saying things like 'We suck' or posts to that effect will be deleted and users may be banned.
8) Hijacking threads in the primary sports forums with images, attempts at humor that have little to nothing to do with the topic may result in the user being banned, at my discretion. The Off Topic and Political/Controversial Forums are there for you to do that to your heart's delight; Not the primary sports forums on this site.
9) No Trolling on the sports forums. If you want to make sport of fooling the masses in the off topic of Pol/Con forum, have at it. On the main sports forums, I'm not interested in it. This is the exact reason why I appreciate Pin being a casual wrestling fan. Why would i want to comb through all 3 of those sites when i can come here and read pin's posts? I loved reading pin and fulsaas posts back in the day. Not even sure if fulsaas is correct, I might've made him up....whatever

Exactly. I feel the same way. I don't pay as much attention to it as I should. It's convenient having a guy like Pin share updates on the program by visiting the same site I go to to get my Hawkeye football, and basketball news. The fact he rightfully mentioned that wrestling isn't getting the respect it deserves on this site doesn't mean he should be chastised for it. It was the Iowa vs Iowa State wrestling meet. I'm not naïve. I understand there aren't many wrestling events that are going to be front page material, but an in-state rivalry like this one is certainly deserving of consideration.

While hate is not the word I'd choose, there is something to this....only it would be grown men who act like kids...those I don't care for and have run out of patience with.
