Love all the coach and player bashing going on in threads. I would hope fans were better than that. The coaches and players put all their blood, sweat, tears and heart into this and some fans prop them up when they win then toss them under the bus when they lose. Which is it? They pretty much finished how everyone thought they would. Sure it's disappointing how they lost some games and if they win even 1 or 2 of those games they're playing in the NCAA Tournament. However, this is a very young team and they got better as the season went on. They will be even better next year. Just go out and suppport the team in whatever tournament they play in. And if you don't want to do that if they wind up in the NIT, that's fine, it leaves tickets for those of us that will suppor them win or lose.

Most fans are better than that..a few on here aren't

I'm all for saying this club found a way to lose...that is true. I'm all for saying, this club doesn't deserve a bid....this is true. I'm all for saying, this club isn't tough enough.....that is a fact unfortunately. But college basketball, and this league in particular, is unwatchable at times. Officiating plays a big part in that. College basketball doesn't have a lot of great players either. That is an issue as well. And you still have to find ways to get guys some clean looks. Izzo did. Caff didn't. But 'ugly' basketball, especially in the BIG, is way too common. The refs aren't getting the blame from me. But they aren't getting a complete pass either.

I think this is a fresh new outlook. First time I have seen officiating blamed for a loss in this forum.

Tough loss, but very proud of this team. I want to see them keep playing and hopefully go on a run in the post-season. No reason not to keep playing - we need the work!!!

If the goal of the NCAA tournament was to get the best 68 teams in Iowa would be dancing...

I don't listen to Izzo at all. If it were up to that clown Lickliter would still be coaching at Iowa. So I don't care what that clown says.
