I don't even understand a couple of those poll choices.o_O LOL

Up until the final minute I actually admired UND for their fast style of play and excellent ball movement. But their final minute BS with the holding of JoBo, the phantom flop, the last second mugging on Baer, their head coach cheering it on like they won the game, and Horner yelling at Fran, left a very bad taste in my mouth. I support Fran 100%.

Frans a hot head, big deal he got mad and walked off.....Heck he came out this morning and said he regretted it, like I figured he would. Now move along, nothing to see here.

You said he didn't do anything wrong so why would he say he regretted it?

Sorry. Believe it or not this is my first poll, and I was trying to channel my inner Josh on the poll choices.

That said, I think the poll choices are self explanatory. :)

He didn't do anything wrong.

It is like when a person on a diet eats a piece of cake. They didn't do anything wrong at all, but they might regret it.

Pretty simple concept really, lots of times you don't do anything wrong, but still regret something.

Why did he even say he regretted it?

Not necessarily. Lots of people apologize or express regret without actually meaning it. He probably just knew that's the best way to move forward.

I think he knew it was wrong. You and I both agree we weren't a fan of him doing that, I think Fran looks back and thinks the same thing

As an Iowa alumnus, I was embarrassed by Fran's actions last night. I'm glad he apologized for it today and it's one of those things we can chalk up to having an immediate emotional reaction to something.

You obviously aren't married. Men apologize all the time for reasons other than they think they are wrong.

"I feel bad about it. I have a lot of respect for Brian Jones," McCaffery told ESPN. "I wish it didn't happen. I wish I shook hands.

"It was a hard-fought game, and I was being protective of my players. Peter Jok has been getting beat up, and it was just a few plays in the last minute that I was frustrated about. But again, I think Brian Jones is a high-character guy and a heck of a coach. Assistant Jeff Horner is one of the best players ever to play here. I shouldn't have done it. I feel terrible about what happened."
