As long as kirk is putting money in those pockets he can get away with 7 wins and some middle of the road bowl game.

They can't dictate his mindset, but they can dictate how much money the University takes in, and money talks. How do you think they payed for the Kinnick upgrades? If the boosters were ******, Barta would not be happy.

IMO it is more than silly to be talking about firing KF but he has more than plenty results to be evaluated as needing some philosophical adjustments.

The only thing that boosters are useful for in a coaching change is when big money is needed to buy out the remainder of a contract. So unless we have become so fed up with Kirk that a contract buyout is needed boosters are not really involved in this conversation.
Lets see: KF makes the U of I millions, we won a BCS game just two years ago. Do the math, or if you can't, NO!

Clueless! If KF has two more bad years, then yes, there may some merit, but what he has accomplished far outweighs any formal action. People can talk all they want everyone is entitled to their opinions, but in the end the guy has accomplished a lot more positive on 13 years then he has negative in the past two. My question is would you say this to his face, or is it just venting?

And which one of those boosters gets to call the shots rehearsing the football program, and what if his opinion somehow just happened to differ from other boosters? It might be easier to let the HC call the shots.
