Has anyone cared about Iowa football since 2010? minus Beathard's perfect season?

Iowa returns a lot of experience next year. unfortunately most of it is how to put their uniform on! On the bright side, think of how much laundry soap was saved due to spotless jerseys!

Your agenda is false - if it's one that is "Iowa has sucked since 2010" ... they haven't. They haven't been great either. But at least look at it with some objectivity. It's been mediocre or just above it for the last 7 seasons. I put that squarely on the coach. I want Iowa to be better. If that means a new coach and that's what it will take, I am all for that. I unfortunately don't make those calls. But, Iowa has not sucked at football since KF has been here sans 2012 and his first 2 seasons. Otherwise, it's been consistently competitive actually.

your definition of average is my definition of sucks

the only thing about iowa football i can remember in the last 7 years is CJ beathard finding ways to win games and saving KF after KF mocked him.. its too bad he took so much damage at iowa and his last year was just too hard to watch

The Wisconsin fake punt was kind of "the straw that broke the camels back". The season looked very promising, but Angerer and Edds were gone. They could ill afford injuries to linebackers but they started losing guys and others played injured. 2010 was a really bad year for injury attrition kind of like 2006 was. The team was a mash unit by the end of the year.

The next year things unraveled. Than Coach Davis happened.

Defense had nothing to do with those wins? I don't remember scoring a whole lotta points from the offense.
 
I love my Hawks. Always have, always will. I sport my gear all over St Louis. Because Im proud to fly it.
I dont like our coach. But want the teams to succeed. And will follow them on TV. I wont give them money until FKF is gone, but I will watch.

It's not a valid argument. I actually look at it and say... wow, he's been here 19 years, must have done something right to have that kind of leash. It's just the nature of being a fan these days - fire everyone after every loss, who cares about anything you've accomplished.
