Guest picker for Gameday in Ames?

Ames is a bit of a step down from Mayberry so not sure he would do it.

Pretty sure Ashton Kutcher was the celebrity in 2006 when Ohio St came to Kinnick. Plus he’s and Iowa fan so it won’t be him. What about Slipknot? They are a rock band with multiple Grammy awards and are very well known with some still living in the Des Moines area. Either Slipknot or Jason Mamoa otherwise it’s a huge step down from who they had in Texas this week with Mathew Mcconaughey and The Undertaker. The 2 most famous ISU Alumns are either A - not known by anyone outside of Polk County or B- Cael Sanderson / Dan Gable.

How about Jane Meyer and Tracey Griesbaum? They could show up with tans and cocktails with the little umbrellas in them and say how much they love the administration. I'm thinking they would take the clones though.

who ever it is needs to be someone that will pick the Clowns to win.....so that way it will be all the more fun when Corso puts on the Herky head.

I, Ronald McDonald, on behalf of the McDonald's Corporation, proclaim, this is the Greatest Day in the history of Cyclown Football. With every Cyclown touchdown scored, the McDonald's Corporation will donate 5 cheeseburgers to every ClownU cheerleader to model healthy living to the masses living in Ames. Lee, if we could only win one game this year, this would be it. Like every year, we put everything into this game. It is our Super Bowl, it is our destiny. Game Day is our launch board. This will be be the day they Remember the Cyclowns.

Honestly...Game Day in Ames is not a good thing. It's not necessarily the extra hype...it's just that the Clones don't need anything more to feed the delusion. This will feed the knuckleheads for years over there.

The good thing is that this will create a big game atmosphere for this Iowa team on the road. That's good. When you are going to the Big House and Camp Randall later this year, you need some experience in a truly hostile environment with the bright lights on. Get a win here, and it's a good omen for sure that this team can handle adversity.

I have news for you. You pay and fund your coach top 10 $ to play and win big road games on national tv. Hostile stadiums and crowds when the world is against you. If you want to beat your chest about the lack of respect and make fun if the clowns and how great the double ferentz’s are then there are no excuses in this game. You go over and kick their ass. Our budget and support is significantly higher and the talk certainly is. So it’s time to let them build all the hype, take a bye week for extra prep, and waltz in there and shove it up their ass. If not, then it’s also time to start accepting some if the realities that come as a result.

I don't see it being Slipknot for the sole reason of they like to protect their private identities. That's part of the reason they wear the masks, and nobody would recognize them without them anyways, so they'd have to wear them which would be pretty offputting to many viewers.

They should just wear their masks and outfits on stage while picking. I’d like to see corso react to their “music” live on air.

I don’t see having gameday there as a major asset for ISU on the field. It’s already the biggest game in ISU football history. It doesn’t need more hype, both teams would have plenty of motivation either way

A glass of water. You know the water in Ames is Awesome.

Gable would be great. The story of him coming to Iowa because we gave him athletic tape when ISU wouldnt would be a great back story.
