It's pretty simple: Good QB = Good in football.
We had a bad one. Plain and simple. If a better one shows up, we will have a decent team.
Look at the NFL. Bad QBs = bad teams. Same in college. A&M might have the Heisman winner and is doing pretty well in the tough SEC. They struggled last year with a different QB in the b12.
Just sayin.
IMO, most defenses in the SEC would have tough times with Big 12-like spread offenses.
It also seems more than one SEC offense wouldn't be able to keep up with points...
Sidenote: Notre Dame vs. Alabama or LSU? Yawn. And you thought last year's BCS Championship game was boring..... BTW, the weakness of Notre Dame's defense is the secondary, so Notre Dame's defense would also have problems with Big 12--like spread offenses.
Let Alabama, LSU, or Notre Dame play, for example, West Virginia and see what happens.
