Cronk was previously mentioned as an Outland trophy candidate while at Indiana. Our offensive line just got a huge upgrade and added more depth. Actually I was surprised we took an O lineman but I’m not gonna cry about it either. This was a great get.

Well, taking him sort of means we can't take anyone else (Cronk puts us exactly at the 85 schollie limit), but there is a really good chance some other scholarship will open up between now and fall.

We still need another punter. They are looking at the Australian Rules Football kicking Academy. Maybe a freshman or experienced player down under. We also need to add another safety with Geno Stone departing.

Coming from NDSU, he was there one year and red-shirted. Has 3 years of eligibility left. He is from NW Iowa (Woodbury Central?).
