The only way Kirk is not Iowa's coach next season is if he retires (or, God forbid, dies). I would be very surprised if he is fired. Too much money for the buyout.

Maybe he's decided to do the best thing for the program and step away. He's made more money then he could spend in 100 lifetimes, and how could this be fun for him?
