go Norfolk state!

I had Mizzou going down the Florida anyways so it hardly hurts mine. I just do my brackets for fun though.

yea I dont get into it for too much money. 5$ @ my work and @ my wife's office. I do it more so because it gives me even more of a reason to watch every game. well, and the few hundred dollars that I never win

but instead of ISU coming up during every single 15-2 matchup, now mizzou will first. it's at least pushing it a little further into the past

as an ISU fan. it is the game in which we do not speak of.

I've already said too much...

I hate to do this to you guys but wasn't ISU up double digits in the second half. I swear that I turned it off and went to bed because Iowa State was pulling away so I was stunned when they lost.

they outscored ISU 14-2 or something like that in the final 5 minutes. not to mention tinsley missed one at the end.

That team wasn't going to win the next game so it didn't bother me. If you want to get at me mention the ISU game from the year before. That was painful. Hampton barely bothered me.

this was actually before my time (didnt start at ISU till '03 and grew up outside of Iowa) so I'm one of few ISU fans who isn't bent out of shape over that.

At least ISU had an excuse for their loss. That team was imploding before the tournament. Mizzou was playing great. Hilarious.

i may have got the names wrong as i pay very little attention to mid majors. buty there is no excuse for losing to such a inferior team, Alford litterally got roasted because of it

Hell of a day to decide to go downtown and see a 2-15 match-up in Omaha.. WOW! Norfolk State played hard and wanted it very badly. If I wasn't privy to the score I would have guessed Mizzou was up by 10 a lot of the game.

For most of the game Norfolk had to work much harder to score, but man those guys were tenacious. Take nothing away from them, they played awesome. That #10 guy...we noticed during the game that he was really a hard worker on offense, and a match-up issue.

As usual the crowd turns against the higher seed in this type of battle. That wasn't the only issue, especially with a large contingent of Jayhawk fans in the place, it started to turn into a hostile road environment for a team supposedly awarded with a close destination to act as a home crowd.

If i can get off work in time on sunday, I want to go back down and watch norfolk again. Those kids can battle.

I'm not making an excuse. More or less saying that it didn't really matter as far as a tourney run goes.

Mizzou, on the other hand, could have made a run.

This tourney has lacked drama and been probably the worst that I can remember, and now top seeds are dropping like flies. C'mon lehigh.

Looks like Mizzou might be on the hook as the last #2 to lose to a #15 for a few hours. Mountain Hawks! :) Not quite done yet though.
