Oh... there's a thread about him transferring? I'm sorry, I didn't realize that. Oh...In that case, yeah, he's awful and you are so right because a bunch of losers talk about a kid they've never met and have no clue what is going on his life is going to do. You're a giant slime ball. Williams has been playing better most of the 2nd half of the season and Iowa needs him to continue to get better to progress next season.
I just said last night I think Williams should be starting over Bohannon the rest of the way. He has a much higher ceiling. Everyone has said Williams has sucked this year and honestly he has, to call me out like that is bush league

Yes and Dakich definitely loves Jo Bo. Dakich can be annoying and has his faults but he does know a thing or two about basketball.

He hasn't been terrible the last few games, the minutes he has played. If he can improve his handle and shooting by 10% each he could be really good.
Overall this season Williams has been terrible, even @deanvogs said that yesterday. Some of you guys just try to pick fights with me because you're bored I swear haha
Dakich is an idiot and Bohannon was bad last night.

Christian Williams has been terrible overall this season, I'm not sure why you would even try to disagree with that. Especially considering I said I wanted him to start the second half of the game yesterday in the game thread and said he should start moving forward because he has a much higher ceiling that Jordan
I wonder what some of these guys would have been saying about BJ during his FR season? He scored about 3 points a game that year.
JB is so much better than what we're used to having at the PG spot because of what you saw last night. He didn't even have a good game but when Indiana had to go to their foul game, JB helped Jok salt the game away. 6-6 on FTs. He's a tough kid, can shoot, and isn't afraid to put up big shoots. His defense will come around, it usually does with players like him that would run through a brick wall to win.
There is a reason Iowa has lost so many tight games and blown leads under FM. Because the last 4 years Iowa's two primary ball handlers were poor FT shooters and could never put the game away. Yes there's going to be some growing pains, he had a bad turnover late last night but he's the main reason I've been watching more this season. For the first time in a long time, Iowa has a legit floor leader and PG.
How were his free throws in the Illinois game?
If I recall correctly he missed two big FT. As I said, there will be growing pains. I do know this, He is a major improvement from what we're used to.
Not at all, Mike was a much better PG last year than Jordan is this year

and he's a FRESHMAN! The only thing you can depend on with most Frosh is to be inconsistent. Jok, Uthoff, White, Marble... all took 2 or 3 seasons to develop into the players they became, they didn't show up in IC ready to roll and playing like seniors.

One was a senior, one is a freshman. You do not know more about basketball then anyone. No one. anywhere, on any board or any level.

maybe 20%, His midrange and outside shot needs a lot of work, with his slashing ability and pretty good ball handling, a reasonable jumpshot would make him a whole other animal to defend (Cook, Pemsl, and Williams are all in this boat). It'd be great to see Williams close out this season strong, he has pretty high upside. Would love to have him split PG with JBo a little more and allow Jordan to be a #2 at times.
Gotta admit, I was pretty down on Williams this year, but he's shown a lot in the last couple games. Really hope it continues.
Which is why you will agree it was stupid to say Bohannon is a major improvement to what we're used to.

ok, I agree, doesn't change my feelings that Jordan is a major improvement over Mike was as a Freshman and the fact that I believe that he will continue to improve and be the better player when all said and done. Please don't turn this into what you are trying to turn it into.
