Honestly believe recruiting is now on a major upswing. If they keep this momentum (and land a star WR or 2) and hang on to him and Hogan, 2020 could be a monumental class.
Agreed. It’s early but I really think the 2018 class could go down as one of our best, especially if Tracy or one of the WRs is legit.

The 2019 class was solid and could finish strong. Hopefully they keep the momentum going.

It is? Where do we rank in the conference? That is what matters. There really is nowhere to go but up really, as we are only out recruiting 3-4 bottom feeders in our conference. That isn't going to get us competing for a conference title anytime soon. 20th year as head coach? We're talking about recruiting taking an upswing like he is putting together his second or third recruiting class. Lets not set the bar too high.

The ‘19 class is not done. It’s currently ranked 9th in B10. Last year was 7th and it was 8th the two years before that.

This is stupid, even for you. Iowa hasn't had a top recruiting class in over 10 years and they've still managed to compete for a conference title.

Go become a Clemson fan and get the F**K off our boards.

Why don't the morons who come up with the class rankings just rank Iowa like 4th or 5th in the conference every year? That way they won't look as stupid when Iowa kicks the crap out of OSU or Michigan and is a play away from beating PSU. I'm convinced to a certainty that guys like Dabo, Kirk, Paul Chryst and Mark Dantonio know a helluva lot more about recruiting than the "experts."

Not according to some of our super fans....

The 7-5 average coach does a great job at evaluating talent.

You mean like how Saban went 34-24 at MSU?
Or 15-17 in 2 seasons in the NFL. Didn’t start winning big untill LSU and Alabama (SEC).Notice how when Saban goes to the NFL where the playing fields are a lot closer to being even across the NFL or a conferences where reading and writing are actually enforced. It’s no different then a majority of Catholic High school sports. When their coaches and programs have their own rules for “getting players” how would all of these “godly” coaches do if their Catholic schools had the same enrollment criteria as public schools??
