Game plans against ISU?

We don't need to confuse the clown defense. Their defense will be the poorest run defense we have faced to date and possibly the poorest we will face all season. Just go out and execute offensively, don't have dumb penalties or turnovers and hawks win handily. I am going to make a bold prediction here by saying that our run game has a coming out party this week Vs lil bro. Scherff or scherffless.

I would think that we will come out in a 3 WR and 1 RB set and try to establish some quick outside throws as well as some inside zone. This will let Ike get his feet wet and see how he handles Morrissey. If he can hold his own then maybe we open it out and spread them out.

If we can't hit any runs with the inside zone then I don't think that Kirk will hesitate to go to the power formation of the 3 TE set. I think anything that they were thinking about holding onto for Pitt is available this week now.
