Who told you this? Where did you make this up? Comments like this are silly and remind me of Matt Perault on KXNO radio. He will throw out "facts" like he has evidence, but really doesn't just like this. Blanket statements that have no facts behind them other then typed letters are a waste of my time and do no good to help Iowa's programs move forward.

Some media and competing Admins have touted Cully Payne's statement of support for Todd Lickliter. I just listened to the media press conference. Cully was asked the question right in front of Lickliter. In that type of setting (press conference sitting a few feet from the coach), of course he is going to say that he came to play for Coach Lickliter. It doesn't mean that he is a sure bet to transfer when Lickliter is let go.

That was pretty apparent from the game yesterday. Cully is the only person who played with any passion. Great game from him

I heard Fuller & Brommer initially approached Barta and then Gatens did the same thing recently. Who knows what to believe tho

He doesnt know - its all just rumor at this point. Some people think that if you read it on a different message board that it somehow makes it true. Ive heard the same thing (not from a message board) but i dont think anybody on these boards knows for sure what went down

This. I've heard the same thing, and am pretty confident that it's true based on who I heard it from, but the fact remains there really is no proof to back it up. Who knows if we will ever know for sure exactly what happened during the week. All we can do is wait to see how everything concludes.

If the other sites say it, I guess that makes it official? Barta wants the team to win as much as anyone, I seriously doubt that he would meet with the team before the BTT.

But was it the team? Or was it Gatens? Or was it Fuller? Or was it Brommer? Or was it the ballboy?

Lots of rumors, no sources.

And if Lickliter is leaving, I'll bet whoever leaked it from the athletic department is headed for the unemployment line.

Plus I was told from sources in the FB department they had heard the same thing.

Some players were ready to revolt.

I have talked to the father of another player he his son was done with Lick but he really loves Iowa so he was torn.

I have to say, of course Cully likes playing under Lick. There is no other BCS conference school in the country that Cully would have been playing 30+ minutes a game at this year. He wouldn't have played that much at Indiana or Penn St this year.
