Frost postgame

He was very flattering about Iowa, said the hawks are just bigger and stronger 'right now' but he expects to catch up soon he said to rest of the conference. He thought Iowa did their great job of running, controlling the clock, and making the needed plays. He thought he was down by 18 right before our fake fg then heard in his headphones it was a fake. Even at that he didnt want to have fake that punt of his own but he thought if he punted it Iowa would drive it and score and being down 15, 92 yards away with only about 15 minutes to play he had to gamble.

He actually said he is about even with the whole conference right now after their close losses on the road to OSU and Iowa (nice to hear the hawks lumped into that group). I thought that was a little overinflated view of things.

But Frost doesnt realize that OSU has a terrible defense, the likes of MSU, Wisky, and Iowa and jNW can somewhat contain their offense.

But I think unlike KF, Frost will not take even above avg for an answer, soon he will have 100 players including some good local walkons and if you arent busting it you wont play.

Frost seems like a good dude. I actually liked him at UCF. Said all the right things and seemed to really care about his players

However I still think he's delusional to think he can bring the UCF offense to the big ten. The defenses are too tough, the weather is too cold and the recruits he will get at nevraska aren't fast enough. He also runs the uptempo style that grinds down your own defense.

Didn't mind what he had to say. The game today was Iowa's to lose, and they damn near did. Should have scored on that dumb-move fake FG and from there we walk with a multi touchdown win due to having huge mo. Instead we gave it all away to Nebster. KF.....you can thank MR for saving your butt today.

He will do well, especially if he gets a defense. Their qb is already good, but will be a star. Only a freshman, and pretty damn poised already.

I could still sense the arrogance in his voice on the drive home from the game.

Amazing how tailgating is awesome after a W - even if a little wet.

Neb has no class or clue - that starts somewhere at or near the top.

Little things: Running on the field while colors were already being presented. Felt for their cheerleaders who caught a lot of flack for not having their flags down at that time. Players chirping long after plays are over from the start, standing over opponents, taunting hoping to incite something. If you're good, you don't have to tell people.
Only team I've seen the last 2 seasons that did not participate during the Wave at end of the qtr.

If this is the program Nebraska fans are proud of - I hope they sit at the bottom of the league for a long time.
A bunch of punks, reap what you sow.

Not sure I agree. You see the way football is going in both NFL and CFB, it’s very offensive focused. Best teams in the NFL have offenses that handle even the best defenses. The rules are just setup to favor offense. Even the mighty Nick Saban switched to a pass heavy offense when he got the QB to do it.

I was thinking about this today while watching the game. Iowa is going to have to adjust their defensive personal in the upcoming years to be able to handle offenses like Nebbys. The B1G has been slow to adopt, but this league will be switching over shortly. 3 yards and a cloud of dust is dead.

I don’t believe Frost respects Iowa or Ferentz.

Players cocking pre-game and chirping during the game = a week of hearing trash from their coaches.

That stuff doesn’t happen without approval of coaches.
I work with some die hard husker fans. Huge obnoxious punks. Everytime they talk about their beloved big red I want to chug battery acid.

Watching the Nebraska team's attitude.....this was not a B1G team, classless. They are still a Big 12 team. They made Mich St look like a bunch of outstanding citizens, chippy, dancing out on the field..Student athletes, not...I wish that I could describe it better It is a joy beating them, this year, nexr year. I hope they go back to the Big 12 soon.

I agree wholeheartedly. They think competing physically is the grandstanding crap after plays. Try just playing through the whistle you douchebags.

I'm convinced the FOOTBALL GODS have cast Nebraska down with the sodomites for their shear arrogance. They have been cast off to spend a 100 YEARS IN FUTILITY. The last thing we want is Nebraska having success again. The last 20 years will be never spoken of again by their fanbase. They will just skip over the last two decades in any conversation.

They won’t be relevant until they do. They’ve only had one ten win season in the B1G, and that’s with a championship and bowl loss. Boy is it strange to actually have to play football.
