Never happen. Nebby rakes in too many research grants, too much TV revenue from the B1G to ever go back to a weak mid-major conference like the Big Eight/12/Actually10.

He should have gotten flagged for that. Officials missed it.

Wadley gets flagged last year for High stepping in the end zone. Martinez did a punk dance in the face of the defender. No Flag. Officiating was poor yesterday. Crucial 4th down was picked up by Nebraska when their tight end held and then tackled from behind our safety who had the play strung out to the sideline. It was one of the most blatant missed penalties I have ever witnessed. There was an official staring at the play.

This. The kid is legit. I dont know if its completely crazy to say hes a generational qb for nebby. Equal run/throw/mental skills is rare. He reminds me of of Russell Wilson. What they dont have is the oline and defense....and I hope they never get it.

That said, and I dont know if this will happen, but I dont know if he will improve much. He was the same all year. If he gets hurt, Frostd offense is rendered moot.

Kid reminds me of Taylor Martinez as a freshman. I remember thinking at the time how good he was going to be.
Turned out "ho-hum". We shall see. ISU kid (Purdy) is getting to play against some of the very worst defensive teams in the country. Jury is still out on him. Hell, everone looks like an NFL qb in that league.

I work with some die hard husker fans. Huge obnoxious punks. Everytime they talk about their beloved big red I want to chug battery acid.

I work with some 20somethings. They don’t know they’re supposed to be arrogant. They haven’t seen it to be it.

He's lucky AF he got Martinez. That kid isn't your typical freshman QB.

He is a pretty good player now.. Think of what he could be in a year or 2 or 3... I felt like that drive where he threw the interception that if they marched in and scored on that we were going to lose. He played within himself and didn't try and do too much. That was pretty much the only really bad play I remember him having. He's the perfect QB for what Frost wants to do but if they can't recruit around him.... Frost hit a home run at QB but will he be able to put a great group around him year in and year out in the BIG?... Time will tell
