I think he could RS just like Moss did. He could use a year in the weight room. That's just me. I ain't Fran and I ain't Joe.

Moss came in relatively late and had some issues at the same time, hence the redshirt. Plus he was not a top 100 player like Wieskamp. I would find it beyond highly unlikely to redshirt JW. It's a common practice in football but not in basketball. On the other hand CJ Fredrick is probably a god candidate for a redshirt.

Wieskamp is listed at 190 pounds, but I've heard that he has successfully added some good weight.
