Fran and Izzo

Izzo will get his in the end, this is a good reminder to the younger Iowa players of what MSU and Izzo think of the Iowa program.

There is no coach I dislike more than Izzo and my dislike started from day one of his tenure at MSU. He does nothing but complain the whole game.

Has anyone ever noticed how much he not just touches officials, but just outright grabs them to talk, talking being a little toned down for what he really does, how do the officials just let that go.

He learned from the best on how to whine from Heathcoate; apple didn't fall far from the tree on that one.

Is there any other coach that anyone dislikes more than Izzo? A lot of people will say Ryan, but the media isn't so much in love with Ryan as they are Izzo and that makes it worse for me.

I am glad I didn't see the game, but after reading some postings, I wish I would have been able too.

Oh, I can't stand Ryan. That's not even close. I don't mind Izzo all that much, especially compared to Ryan. Part of that is that I think Izzo is a MUCH better coach. Most coaches work the officials. But guys like Izzo are successful at it because of their success on the floor. If Fran were in Izzo's position, he'd have just as much pull with officials as Izzo has. It's pretty much always been that way.

Yeah but you guys got it going on. Fred is going to the dance man. Why bother to post here on big brother's web site?

I wanted to read up a little on Coker and also the opinion on Fran's little tantrum he had at the game.

Hardly considered that a bad thing.

Talent, I usually admire your optimistic views, but you are off your rocker with your posts in this thread.

Izzo is a duche and leads a band of thugs. Don't any of you remember the double flex a year or so back from one of their players?

Ya, flexing really qualifies as one as a thug. "Thug" might be the most hidden racist term ever. It is just an awful word.

Yeah I've always liked Izzo...Hawk fans that despise him are just jealous of the success...the guy is a great basketball coach, and knows how to control his temper to manipulate the refs.

Fran just gets mad and then blows his top and nothing is accomplished.

No way was Izzo saying that to Fran, he has more class then that. My only gripe is it seemed to take forever for him to put in his scrubs. It almost looked like they were trying to 100 point us and win by 50.

Izzo didn't seem like disliked Fran in the pre-game chat with Dolphin. He hinted that he teases Fran on his tempter and said he had a little Bobby Knight flare in him.

Izzo was chewing out his player number 30 or something, you can see it if you were paying attention at the next timeout after #25 got the tech for getting in basabe's face. He pulled both players and continued to chew 30's ***

Kinda like how one of our former coaches gave a double flex after Doug Thomas rocked the house with a dunk when we beat MSU in Carver back in 2006.

I would if I was an opposing coach. Make a statement....Fry used to do it all the time to cupcakes.

bruce webber ,bo ryan, and tom izzo. are they brothers n secret or what?

Tom Izzo is right up there with ND football on my dislike list. I think he is the worst winer, then Ryan followed closely by Painter and his looks of being dumbfounded at a call.
