I don't condone drunk driving... but yeah I'm on the who cares bandwagon. Almost every one I know or meet has had an OWI. (I got mine in 1998) And the ones who haven't had one either don't drink or just plain have been lucky. Big deal... he'll pay his fine, no one was hurt, and hopefully he won't do it again.

It USA big deal and when you kill someone or when someone you care about gets killed you will realize that. My mom lost her mom to a drunk driver when she was 7 and didn't have a mom her entire life as a result. All because drunk drivers are a-holes. Take a cab, get a friend. Don't drink 20, use your melon. Or not, whatever you want to do maggot.

You do condone drunk driving. Get a cab, a limo, a dd, walk or stay home cause you are too poor or too dumb to drink in public.

Hey smashing my car head on into a family and killing them, what's the big deal? I don't get it. I have to go to da club and pour brewskis into my face hole and there's no stopping me and that's just how it's gonna be. If u wanna drive home I will. If your on the road with me, that's your problem. Makes sense to me. I don't see the problem.

I agree. Drunk driving deaths happen all the time. There was just a bad one not too long ago where some dude was literally driving the wrong way on 235 through Des Moines, doing like 100, bombed, watching a DVD. I believe he killed himself and the person he ran into head on. He was going the wrong way on interstate 235, watching a DVD while driving. Going 100. That's our world, but hey, no big deal, everyone does it.

I recently called in a drunk driver weaving all over 380 between IC and CR. The police were setting up to intercept him just north of Hwy 30. He didn't quite make it there. He ended up in the barrier wires just south of 30 after taking a little ride through both the median ditch and the right roadside ditch. Really lucky he didn't take out any other cars. Dumba$$.

I can recall to this day. I was on the interstate near savannah Georgia when traffic came to a crawl for about five miles due to an accident. I can remember seeing two bodies covered with sheets as I crept by the scene. That will make you think...

Some of you need to get a grip. He wasn't in an accident and he didn't kill anyone. He made a mistake and will pay huge consequences for it. Move along. Oh, and I'd be willing to bet my last nickle (and I have a lot of them) that most people on this board have driven drunk at least ONE time in their life.
