I don't get the big shoes. They make him look like a duck and those are his webbed feet.

I'm sure the idea is that, with a smaller head, Herky can be more active. Well, he wasn't. He didn't do anything the old bobble-head Herky didn't do. I don't get it.

But those big shoes are horrible. Like Frankenstein shoes. Put bolts on Herky's head and he's ready to be Frankenstein Herky for Halloween. Hawks GOOOOD! Fire BAAAAAAD!

I always thought the basketball Herky head was better than the football head. The football head was the heaviest head in the NCAA--somebody probably thought it was time for a change.

But a 00 on the jersey? That's the part I don't get.
 
Holy crap. New football Herky is awful. Why did they change the Herky design at all? Herky looked fine before.

Apparently the football program is making too damn much money and have people on payroll with nothing else to do but crap like this. Herky is now a Hawkeye Ninja Turtle with Uggs, only more creepy.
 
I don't have a problem with the change. It does make him smaller, lighter, and more mobile. He was over in my section today, and somebody lifted him up on their shoulders. Old Herky would've toppled over… Taking out three rows!

And if memory serves, a change in Herky was a suggestion on this board.

I like the old one better. This one seems crabby. The other one seems happier or friendlier. Bet he scares some little kids. That being said, I'll get over it.
 
I actually think it was a significant upgrade. While some people just can't handle change, the new football Herky is certainly a bit more modern.
