First Tailgate Grub?

Tailgate foods that are on our yearly menu for an Iowa football season

Wings, put them on the grill and they are so tasty.
Grilled tenderloins
Brawts/ Hot dogs (we do Chicago style with the fixings)
Burgers
Chili with corn bread, cheese, oyster crackers & Frito scoops
Baked Ziti Pasta that we just warm up on the grill with buttered garlic bread
All types of chips
mixed nuts
Chips & salsa coupled with heated cheese dip
cookies
brownies
Home made spinach dip
Beef Stew
Heated Buffalo Chicken Dip
Deli Sandwiches.....Pumpernickel bread with roast beef, turkey & pineapple ham topped off with lettuce, mayo, tomatoes, pickles & American cheese. They turnout like a giant Dagwood sandwich.

Drinks:
Coors, Bud and Busch light
Bloody Mary's
Wine, the ladies in our group are more into the wine.
Vodka and OJ
Hot Chocolate and peppermint schnapps
Hot Apple Pie Shots

Ironically, the corner of Melrose and Hawkins used to be a hot tailgating spot, especially for students. There used to be a huge lot on the corner approximately where the hospital parking ramp is today.

Yea, I used to tailgate in that lot. Our party would get their first so we were literally at the corner of the two sidewalks. We could touch the Melrose and Hawkins sign. Maybe that is why I chose that for my username!
 
Hey, be careful. How far are you from mainland hit?

It really kind of depends on if/when it makes a turn. If, as they are currently saying, it goes along the coast, we feel it, but we're in Orlando, so it'll be wind/rain bands. If it does NOT turn? ALL bets are off, but good news is, it won't happen before game tonight!
