Robinson missed lots of games due to injury.

I think it took a few years before Denard ever made it through a game against Iowa without getting blown up so bad he had to come out. I remember them having to play Forcier a bunch and Forcier gave us fits. Then, I think in 2011 Denard might have made it through a whole game, but he couldn't throw worth a shit and Michigan lost to a pretty shitty Iowa team. I was at the 2009 and 2010 games and Denard was seriously limited by that salty d-line and in 2010 I think someone crushed him and he noped the F out. Forcier came in and I was worried we were gonna choke it away, but somehow we found a way to win up there.

I once met a guy named Jamie Murphy. He said he played for Iowa from 09 to 11. He told a pretty funny story. He says they made him play as Robinson on the scout team. They even bought a Robinson jersey and made him wear it. He said the whole practice the coaches were yelling at the defensive players to "Put his ass down". He claimed the experience had a PTSD like effect. He said he still has nightmares from it. This was almost 4 years ago now so maybe he has gotten over it. Either way I felt bad, because I literally laughed in his face while he was telling his story.

Actually in 2009 DE#94 knocked out Forcier and they had to bring in Denard. He started to get them back into the game until he threw a terrible floater that was easily picked off and sealed the game.

Lol, you mean Jayme Murphy? Not your fault at all but that guy fed you some bullshit. :) He redshirted '06, played a little special teams in '07/'08, but didn't practice or play in 2009 because he was hurt (which was Denard Robinson's freshman year). Unless the Hawks were prepping for Robinson during his senior year of high school.

Omaha Weird Herald saying Doctor's will make final determination tomorrow. That is not a good sign, I think he blew the ACL. After trainer talked to him on field he took his helmet off and just sat there...not good.

Maybe Scotty will dial up the kid that just departed program and pull some strings and tell him how much he really really loved him.....................................

The coach was Bill McCartney. The QB in 1988 who fathered his daughter's child wasn't Darius Hagan, it was Sal Aunese. He was diagnosed with cancer before the 1989 season and died during the season.

They went undefeated until losing to ND in the Orange Bowl, allowing Miami/FL to win the poll versions of the National Championship.

Those late 80s and early 90s Colorado teams definitely had some stud players.
...and later on Husker fans painted graffiti on a sign over I-80...."Sal is Dead, Go Big Red!".

Classiest fans in all of college football and don't you forget it.

Really? Wow I never even thought to look it up. Seems like such a weird thing to lie about. Well damn thats too bad I really liked that story.

Did they really? That is frigging AWFUL. How would those neanderthals feel if people referred to Brook Berringer's plane crash in an equally cruel way? Morons.
