#FireFrost

Really? Wow I never even thought to look it up. Seems like such a weird thing to lie about. Well damn thats too bad I really liked that story.
Hawk career obviously didn’t pan out for him, so I’m sure it makes for (like you said) a good story that he assumes no one will think too hard about. Tell it enough times and I’m sure he believes it himself.

I guess I can see the sense in that. I still feel like someone pissed in my Cheerios.

The Nebraska team I saw today would have beaten last year’s team by 3 tds. I would take the Martinez kid in a heartbeat too. That being said you gotta love seeing them go down.
They gave up 33 points. Similar to what last year's team would have done. Colorado has a terrible defense so the jury is out on Nebraska's offense, too. Time will tell what has changed. Colorado is an average team that went into Lincoln and won in front of a rabid crowd. Also keep in mind that Nebraska was a 5 point favorite going into the game.

Tebow had National Championship caliber lineman in front of him..Nebraska has ????

It's true but it doesn't change the fact that a Tebow like player is what Nebraska would need to run that RPO in the B1G without losing QB's constantly to injury.

I'm not convinced that last year's Nebraska team would have kept Colorado from scoring 50. Nebraska's defense was playing with more fire then seen in several years. It certainly won't be enough to make a difference this year, but if and big if Frost can keep his players playing with that intensity some day that may actually make a difference. Not a guarantee, but a mere observation.

Don't worry, they'll cave after 2 more losses like they always do :)

I'm not worried yet, but I saw more then I expected this early so I may have to reconsider my previous assumption that Scott Frost would fail horribly. Even though that is what I am rooting for.

I agree that Colorado is probably not that great. However, 14 of those 33 points came off of short fields from Nebraska turnovers. They also had 7 sacks and Colorado only had 44 yds on the ground. So I would say their defense is probably going to be better.
