Ferentz's post game presser

Dolph tried to press him on CJ/JR complimentary to CJ...and of course throwing out that JR "was right there too", just thrown into a bad situation.
"just thrown into a bad situation"? A football game? A football game against a better coached team? A football game against a team with more talent? A football game against a team with better coaching AND more talent?

I wonder if he said "That's football, or did not execute" in the media press release? About the only typical words not used in the Dolph interview.

I don't care what he says in the least. He has become a joke and his stupid comments just cement things for him.
I personally have been very anti-ferentz since 2010 and have been vocal of it. It has been interesting to watch things spiral downwards and now see all the disdain with him. And I just don't see anyway to change things.

CJ wasn't allowed to talk to the media and was escorted out by police. That might not be a good sign.

I don't expect Ferentz to come on the radio and yell and scream, but my God he sounds way too content and laid back. You can really tell he isn't worried about his job in the least.

He should be pretty damn upset that his legacy at Iowa is tarnishing before his eyes but I guess fat paychecks trump all.

"There are a lot of good days ahead" was what Ferentz just said. Unreal.
There are a lot of good days ahead...FOR HIM! 4 million a year is "a lot of good days". Good lord.

Kurt said on Dolph Post Game...."Jake did a lot of great things, CJ did some good things, to his credit he made a deep throw touchdown and had a nice long run."

What "great things" did Jake do?

Seriously...what is wrong with Kirk? Jake did "a lot" of great things and CJ only did "some" good things? I'm just flabbergasted.

Kirtliter's post games remind me of Jack Nicholson on the stand in A Few Good Men. Who the hell are you to question me???

YOU DAMNED RIGHT I CALLED A CODE RED!!

Kirk obviously has dislike for CJ and if I was his parents I would support a transfer.
When Beathard came to Iowa he's wasn't the most coachable kid in the world. He wanted to just sling it and freelance and that didn't sit well with Ferentz. I think he was in the dog house from Day 1.

Didn't catch the interview, did Dolph or eddie p ask him how he planned to spend the $100,000 bonus he gets for appearing in a non-bcs bowl?

My bet is he will donate it to help some really sick children. Any other brilliant questions, genius?

That would not surprise me. Kirk and his wife donated approx. $28,000.00 to the Childrens Hospital to meet our goal at the 2014 Ladies Football Academy. They are very charitable people!

You seem a little touchy with Kirtliter tonight. I think the guy was referring to the fact that Kirtliter received a $$ bonus for getting to this game then turned in a turd of a coaching performance.

I don't think anyone would deny that the Ferentz' are very charitable people.

There is 0 doubt that Kirk Ferentz is a good person. But sometimes I wonder if his good nature and desire to do the right thing makes him overly charitable to players that do things right off the field, but not on it.

Charity is nothing without accountability in other areas of your life.
