We have the talent in our younger classes I believe to compete, it's the getting to the point where the coaching staff believes they are good enough to play is what's killing me. You can't tell me all these walk on players are so much better than most of our incoming freshman or RS freshman and deserve more playing time.
The overall athletic talent the coaching staff uses bothers me the most, our younger players are just as likely to make the mistakes I watched all season by our starters. At least the better athlete might be able to recover on a mistake unlike our slower walk on's. We will only be a better team letting these kids play early...for example Ballard, Clayborn, King, Kroul, Greenway, Hodge all played as freshman and look at our success in the years following. We are a better team playing our young players and the recent push toward experience is catching up with us in my opinion.
