Because we are usually punting from our 10, and teams are starting at our 40. It's been that way for about 6 of the last 8 quarters. It feels like the only time we start with better field position is when fielding a kickoff after the other team scores.
35 yards of rushing. I can't get over that.
35 yards rushing and 2 turnovers. Ugh.
this implies coaching occurs on this teamWhat ever happened to the old coaching point, "put your heels on the 10 and don't back up"?

Teams stack the box because they know the run is coming and they play man on the outside because they know our QB can't hit the deep throw. The middle should be open but we never throw the slant routes. I don't think Wadley is banged up he is just not built to run into a wall and move the pile.Agree totally. I'm guessing that Wadley's ankle or another body part is bugging him more than Iowa is letting on, because he didn't play very well at all today.
That's what I was taught. I still remember it.What ever happened to the old coaching point, "put your heels on the 10 and don't back up"?
