Oh, and make it 20 font or so....that way I don't have to squint to read it. Thanks in advance.
"My sister was a year younger than me, but she could kick my butt in just about everything."
Why didn't we offer her at QB?

Article claims that Stanzi and Vandy have similar arm strengths. I am not sure that is accurate. Based on what I have seen, Vandy has a much stronger arm. Anybody else get that impression?
Or it could be that Stanzi was a "Greg Maddux". People always seem to remember Maddux as a guy that couldn't really throw gas, just made his living spotting up and hitting the corners. But he could actually throw some serious heat, he just couldn't control it when he did. So instead of throwing 95+ and missing spots, Maddux took a little off his fastball, and the rest is history.
Perhaps Stanzi could throw the ball just as hard as Vandy, but not with the same level of accuracy. A lot of Rick's passes had nice touch on them. They were rarely bullets.
Maddux was also one of the best fielding pitchers to ever play the game. After he would throw the ball he in one consistent motion squared up to the hitter & was ready to field.
How this applies to Stanzi & college football, I don't know. Just thought I'd throw that out there, though.![]()
I'm suggesting that when Stanzi threw as hard as he could, he could match Vandy. But maybe Rick couldn't throw that hard and still throw an accurate ball, whereas Vandy can. Like how Maddux had to take something off his fastball in order to put it where he wanted it.
I'm not saying that's true, but it would be a possible explanation for someone saying they have nearly identical arm strength.
If she looks anything like her mom, I'd be willing to go do some recruiting.
"Because at that point Brandon Wegher was on the team."
Rimjob....
