Bold face type don't lie. "to even be in the conversation as an Iowa fan is unreal."
I still don't feel Iowa will get in, but the last two games have me beginning to be more optimistic. Essentially, the way I see it is:
Win out and win 1 BTT game "could" get them in.
Win out and win 2 BTT games "should" get them in.
I realize the Illini have been terrible, but to me this game screams as one where Iowa struggles and Illinois takes advantage. Hope I am wrong, but I don't see Iowa winning in Champagne.

Iowa hasn't won an outright title in the conference for, what, 30+ years? They are not a top 20 all time program. However, the ISU football comparison is even further off base.
