Eric Graham, RB commit to the Hawkeyes, today

Looks like the REAL Deal........a guy Hawkeye fans are gonna
LIKE...........and not just on Facebook

From Alabama 5'11" 200 lb; with Home run speed

He had good tape. Against Alabama competition that probably means something. He likes to hurdle.

So we have to ask ourselves, why was no one going after him? Read somewhere else it's grades.

Knowing our luck with RBs, do we really think this guy will see the field?

hey... I hope it's grades. Get that kid a tutor and get that fixed and hopefully his talent is the real deal.

I'm going out on a limb and say Eric Graham will make the grade at Iowa.
Could be the STEAL of the year.
Notre Dame, Kentucky both were interested in Eric G.
Prattville, AL is BIG time high school Football country.
Let's just say that I know a few 'southern gentlemen' from Prattville

So there weren't ANY other teams in the entire country that were not willing to take a risk on a highly talented RB with academic risks? That sounds hard to believe. Every team brings on a couple fallbacks at the end of the recruiting cycle. I'm intrigued but not holding my breath.

It's a skill position and we are Iowa, enough said.

Hopefully we can start to cash in on some of our nice facilities starting with the next recruiting class and KF and his staff can start to earn their salaries. If not may a giant sink whole swallow their house in the middle of the night. It would be an act of God.

Their careers haven't begun, yet, but it seems Graham has all the same abilities as Higdon.

Huh. I was going to say, their careers haven't begun but it seems Graham is building a Derrick Willies sized rep.

Suppose ya'll will feel the same about him when he leaves because Aaron Mends or Andrew Willick are getting more totes due to their experience and ability to pick up the blitz?

Maybe the truth is Higdon flipped because he knew he'd be behind Graham on the depth charts his entire career. All joking aside I hope they both have good careers.

At first I rolled my eyes at those saying this is better than the guy we lost to UM.. but then I watched his tape and saw 3 break away tds in the first 3 plays, which was more than I saw from the other guy so.. it appears that you guys are right, this kid looks better.

Kentucky and a couple other schools were trying to talk him into waiting to sign his LOI to see if he could get admitted. Looks like KF and staff did their homework here, and he sounds like he will be able to get in at Iowa.

No, Graham doesn't have the preferred body type to be an Iowa running back but maybe things are a changin' at Iowa? CJ is QB, ya know, for now. That Nebby running back had more the body type of Graham.. and couldn't pick up blitzes but still played for Bo. If Graham can't pick up blitzes, KF could always try him at WR.. he's got that athleticism.

What are you talking about? Graham is 5'11 200 lbs and Higdon was 5'10 190 lbs. Albert Young was about 200 lbs, Fred Russel was about 190 lbs
