Drew Tate Retires

One of my favorites. I still remember in his first game he audibles to a long pass for a touchdown and got reamed on the sideline for doing it. Drew was always his own man.

Just imagine what we could've done if he was allowed to audible all the time?

Just imagine if our current quarterback called audibles and the opposing linebackers could just point to where the run play was going and top it for a loss.

Wait, this is about Drew Tate. He could be a coach at a JUCO or High School to start down in Texas.

tk, you posted something where somebody called Kirk Ferentz an "extremely successful football coach"? Everything ok at home?

Been a great ambassador for Iowa. I guarantee KF reached out to congratulate him on his career coming to an end. I'm sure this won't be the last we hear of his name. He seems determined to get his foot in the door coaching and I'll be surprised if he isn't successful with that. Good for him. It's been fun keeping up with his career.
