I used to be.So its fair to say you arent a Steve Alford fan spank?
Whether it is a 30 point loss, or a 1 point loss.........it's still a loss.
And, since 2006, we have seen way too many of them.

Steve Alford has his UNM Lobos at 19-3, and fresh off a win last night against #10 BYU.
We, at Iowa, three years later, are getting excited on this message board because a team "played Ohio State tough....but still lost"
Alford knew what he was doing, and what he was dealing with in the Iowa fans.
He will parlay that into a bigger and better job.
You have to give him credit at some point.
Yes it is and yes we have.
I went to the game last night. Drove 2.5 hours. I was ecstatic about the way the team played. You can't tell me this team hasn't improved. I was PROUD to watch that team last night. They played their arses off. Please tell me you can at LEAST admit that.
In the end, Lick will be judged on W's and L's. I get that.
And you see a different game in person, wouldn't you say.

You have our permission to become a Lobos fan. We don't need you here!!!
I will be transparent: I have watched about 15 minutes of hoops this year. Have more important things to do. Fairweather? Perhaps. But, from a basketball standpoint, we are not the prettiest car on the lot. Pretty dull, nothing fancy.
I have, however, watched every wrestling match less one. Then again, I have only missed (5) of them in the past four years.
I used to love watching basketball. Can't say I "love" it anymore. But, there were some great moments from last night's game.
The biggest moment happened at halftime when Adrian Clayborn was at midcourt.
You lost me man. How can you make such definitive statements about the program when u don't even watch? And here I was respecting your opinion.
Alford didn't want to be here and he left. I thought he was a good coach, but he is gone. I'm not sure what the point of the OP is -- you can't live in the past.
Coach Lickliter wants to be here and he is building something -- I think you are pretty foolish if you can't see it now. This is a young team that should get better. Let's support what we have and forget about past coaches who can do nothing for us now.
I don't care how he's doing, I'm glad he's not coaching here.
