Dondre Alexander Quits IC West Hoops Team

Alexander was an all-stater for Iowa City West's state title team last year. He signed with Southern Miss in November and was a part of West's undefeated, #1 ranked team this year before being suspended earlier this month. He was also an all-state WR for West's football team and was recruited by several D1 football programs before opting for basketball over football in college.

Sounds strange to say but, They actually are a better team without him. They have been playing great since his suspension. They will miss his athleticism but they play better as a team without him. They are still stacked.

I think I read in the Gazette that he had just "earned" his second suspension of the season for violating team rules or something like that...

Yeah its to the point if he doesnt want to help himself, then what's the use. People at ICW have bent over backwards to help this kid. He hasnt exactly grown up in an ideal home, but cmon kid, pull your head out of your ***.
