He signed to play D1 basketball and quit his hs basketball team to focus on track? Is this correct? If so.... This kid is really really not so much smarts.

He was currently under suspension for the basketball team. He was eligible to return in the State semifinals, but decided not to wait. It was his 2nd suspension of this year.

Track had nothing to do with him quitting. Im not going to say why on a public message board.

I am sure they had a good reason to request one. If he isn't doing them then he should want to take it to vindicate himself.

West High's Alexander charged with trespassing

This type of banning from a store typically follows a theft or attempted theft. I don't believe this was his first brush with the law either.

Personally, after two suspensions, failure to comply with terms of reinstatement, and the original tweet of his leaving the BB team (#fu^k_West) (since deleted/edited). A quick perusal of his Twitter page reflects...a lot.

A lot of the posters above are correct... the team is playing pretty well w/o Dondre (or rather "Dre" as the hip-hops call him). His athleticism will be missed deeper into the tournament, but the team will benefit from not having to deal with his daily drama.

w/o going into too much detail, the West High football and basketball coaches have more than bent over backwards in attempts to give Dondre the benefit of the doubt on many occasions. They have extended 2nd, 3rd, ect. chances to the kid... He will have a very difficult time adjusting to the "real" world which (for the most part) does not operate that way.

Best of luck to him, lookout Southern Miss... you will have your hands full with this one.

Neither Scout or Rivals have him listed as a commit to Southern Miss. Rivals has him as a prospect with offer, but not a commit. Scout doesn't have him listed anywhere on their site.
