He might have been a somewhat mediocre recruiter but he wasn’t a mediocre coach. His resume at Iowa proves that . In the entire history of the program we’ve only had 4 coaches take us to the sweet 16 and only 3 coaches get us past the sweet 16 and Tom Davis is on both of those lists. Calling him mediocre is being a bit harsh
