Do you think the way Fant was used today solidifies his departure to the NFL

If I was him, absolutely. If he was my son, I would tell him to go. If he was my brother, I would tell him to go.

As a fan, he should go.
 
It's like you guys have never heard of this guy. Long long history of underutilizing talent.

He should just go now. If he doesn't want to play......leave. I'm sick to death of hearing it all the time. You came here to play. So your worried about your future well get out and take Stanley with you. Yes I'm mad as hell!
 
Will any reporter have the guts to ask "Why did you wait until the 4th quarter to target Fant?" "Did it have anything to do with Fant saying that he had not control over how much he played?"
 
I don’t think he is a first rounder but someone could take him early hell look at CJ. That being said he should leave nothing good can come from another year especially with Stanley throwing to you and a staff that doesn’t utilize your talent.

I didnt see any vindictiveness in Fant's targets today as he has been used this way all year. He runs long routes and is taken out occasionally.

I dont think any gameplanning is made to keep Fant under wraps.
 
I guess I haven't paid a ton of attention to snap counts this year, but on the first drive and first two plays it was Hock and then Hock/Weiting. Then on quite a few of the single TE sets he wasn't in the game in favor of Hock as well. Maybe that is a b.ocking thing, maybe it's a doghouse thing, I don't know...
 
Or, was Fant not getting open? He was double teamed early. In fact, the announcers mentioned that the corners were getting physical with Fant and he did not handle it well. Griese said that Noah's next step is to become more physical. Also, Fant has "short armed" some passes in traffic the last 2 or 3 games. I am just guessing on this one.

Or, I guess now we know, from someone who clearly has inside information, that its KF's vindictiveness that is the real reason for Fant's lack of targets.

Fant caught 3 short passes in the 4th quarter and removed himself from the game for being out of breath. Not sure what his deal is but out of shape seems to be one of them

He's for sure leaving early for the NFL. I just hope hockenson doesn't as well
 
I think he should stay and work on his hands and conditioning.

He was targeted in the 4Q but after three 10 yard routes with the game on the line took himself out and was on a knee on the sideline sucking wind.
 
Fants decision was already made. I think when he started measuring out, he realized he was elite and realized he could make some cash and probably play out what most kids dream is to play in the NFL. Can’t blame the kid. The way the game of football is there’s no guarantees.
