Not sure about that, but assuming you are right, he is going to be incredibly important later in the season. Iowa will have injuries to those top 2 running backs.....they always do

If you weren't talking about Iowa and running backs, I'd say you were being pessimistic. But, you could be right. However, I would say that maybe even Toks becomes the 3rd back. DM didn't get many carriers last season, even though, he played quite a bit. I just think that if AW can be consistent on 3rd down blitz pickup and pass pro, he's way more of a weapon than DM.

Not complaining about that but their skills at blocking need to improve or CJ won't last long.

I just think this topic is a little silly. If we play three running backs, how is anyone going to get into a rhythm? Mitchell will get plenty of carries when Daniels or Wadley gets banged up. I just think this is a classic case of everyone wanting to see the new guy. Happy we got some good depth though!

I agree with Chosen. DMX NEEDS to be in at either running back or slot receiver on EVERY 3rd down at least. How is he not as good or better than our 3rd or 4th receiver, plus he's a wrecking ball. The kid needs to be on the field.
