Derrick Foster, Tim Polasek, Mark Kallenberger Leaving Iowa Football

I'm concerned about recruiting versus finding a guy that can coach the OL
I wouldn't worry about recruiting. Since 2014 here's our 3-year average recruiting ranking in football

2021: 33
2020: 38
2019: 40
2018: 42
2017: 49
2016: 55
2015: 58
2014: 51

That's a definite trend that being helped by the ridiculous number of NFL starters we're putting in the NFL, as well as LeVar Woods hitting homeruns. Recruiting ain't gonna be impacted much by Polasek leaving.

My freshman year at Iowa I got to know a hawk football player who lived near me on a small wing of rooms. He was a backup guard starting his third year and he abruptly quit the team in late Sept or so. He was getting more serious with his gal friend he told me and he also said he was just tired of the head banging. Best wishes to Kallenberger
For sure and I get it once we think about it. My uncle was a dang good LB and FB in HS and coulda went to Nebraksa back in the mid 70s they were sending him letters but he decided he just didn't want to play college FB at all. Told em thanks but no thanks he'd had enough of it.
