Michigan D is TERRIBLE. 37 to UMASS??? Our D is legit... Im calling a blowout, why all the pussification of our fanbase?

Here comes the rain.......Mich left a lot of points on the field against MSU. Two redzone turnovers, dropped passes, and inaccurate passing cost them the game. Mich St scored on 2 big runs and as good of a job that AR is doing, he doesn't have breakaway speed. I believe Iowa see a much improved Mich team.
 
My fear is that the Michigan Defense will suddenly look All World against Iowa. I hope not. I also wonder how our defensive secondary will hold up against Michigan's offense.
 
Michigan's D looked horrible last year too ... and yet they made life for Iowa's O rather difficult. Iowa need to rely on big plays to Moeaki in order to score.

I anticipate that a good Michigan game-plan on D could make things difficult on O. However, the key is that the Hawks need to make sure that they don't get caught playing "catch up." If the Hawk O is given a chance to make adjustments but still remain within the context of their offensive game-plan ... then they should be okay.

Hawk fans should expect a tough, hard fought game ... and then be pleasantly surprised if we can manage to pull away from the Wolverines like MSU did.

However, as other posters have rightly pointed out ... there's no way that Iowa can expect to get picks in the red-zone like MSU got. Furthermore, there's no way that we can expect to rattle off that many 40+ yard runs.

Lastly, it's ridiculous to claim that Denard Robinson got pwned ... he still accounted for something like 300 yards on O for the Wolverines. Most teams would be tickled pink if their QB could be so productive. The catch-22 for Michigan is that Denard IS their O for the most part!
 
If Iowa Offense picks up the UDR Blitz (which will be coming over and over) and makes them pay=Game over. UDR will not keep up.

If Iowa allows the UDR blitz to be effective=Long tough day.

Turnovers are always the wild card... I'll leave them out. Straight up mistake free game, I think this is where the game will be decied.
