Delano Hill flips commitment to Michigan

What the hell does your post have anything to do with my response to Billso?

It solidifies your assertion that the days of landing big time recruits are over for Team Curt: "It worked before, maybe it will again but I doubt it."

Might I assume you don't design spaceships for a living?

Hilarious and pathetic all at once.

Yep. Look, if some scandal breaks out at an Indian subsidiary of GE the CEO can MAYBE say that. Hundreds of thousands of employees, infinite amounts of information, etc. But when you run a football program and you don't have a bowl game to prep for, recruiting should pretty much be front and center on your plate. How many things is a football coach responsible for? Recruiting, retention, development, practices, game planning, scheduled appearances with the media, hiring and firing coordinators and a small staff? Anything else material? Any coach who blows off one of those limited obligations and gives an answer that the media probably "knows more about than him" is a coach who should be fired FOR CAUSE because it becomes clear that the guy has put it in cruise control and is completely detached from the happenings in the program he is responsible for.

I think in the situation with Delano and Kenney Iowa got screwed.

Michigan was Delano's dream school.

Kenney had a chance to be closer to his dad, play and go to school at the University his dad was employeed.

Reality sucks.
Or..........both those programs have a brighter four to five year future than Iowa, who is living
on the fumes of the 2002 season; with Hayden's recruits and Philbin and a healthy Norm Parker holding KF's hand??

By the way, what school does Garmon's dad work at? Did Malik Rucker's dad just get hired by TT?? ISUcks is Campos dream school? Is it anyone's "dream school" who didn't grown up breeding hogs??

Johnny Soybean = next Dallas Clark

Billso, you are a good dude but people have to stop with this obsession that walk-ons and 2* guys are going to be ALL-B1G, NFL guys every time. It happens but if this team wants to be success in the national spotlight they have recruit on a national level and get some of the big boys. It worked before, maybe it will again but I doubt it.

Turn on your sarcasm detector, dave...

You didn't say anything about them, their dad's haven't been hired yet, that is why they haven't announced where they are going yet. Background checks are still pending at a few schools, should know more in the next 3-5 days, typical background check timeframes.

Campos may not have dreamed of playing at ISU but it is a well known fact that Campos family are big time ISU fans and donors.

Ok.............add ISUcks to the extremely long list of programs with a brighter looking football future than Kirks' Circus.

ISU might have a brigher future, may and that is a big MAY. I like Paul Rhoads but I think ISU fans need to relax, he beats one or two good teams are year and still ends with a .500 record and some fans act like he is amazing and the greatest coach in history. He has beaten a mediocre Iowa team and the worse Iowa team since '99 until Iowa is worth a crap any win over Iowa isn't considered a good win. He may prove to take ISU to the next level until nothing matters.
