You 'get' our defensive scheme? Well then please explain it to us? What technique does each one play and what our their responsiblities? Do we flip out ends to strength and how is 'strength' determined? Tell us about the LB calls and where they line up in each one and what their reads are? etc.etc.etc.etc.etc....You know NOTHING about our defensive schemes, so why don't you shut up and try to actually learn something. Why do YOU come on here and make totally ignorant statements? Trying to convince someone that you know something about football? See, you 'wannabees' love to run your mouths off criticizing coaches and players and acting like you know something about football, and absolutely hate it when someone who does comes along and points out that you have no idea what your talking about, and cry and name call and act like little children who had their 'baba' taken away from them. And your sticking by your statement that they double him all the time clearly shows how delusional you are. I told you, I WATCHED THE REPLAY PLAY BY PLAY and they did not double him 'all the time'. Are you saying someone used CGI on the replay I watched and digitally removed one of the linemen??? YOU are the one with the problem sir and I would suggest that you just enjoy the games and if you get on the internet try to 'learn' something from people who do actually know what's going on..........

Generally I learn some things from you. I don't agree with everything. This is where you get into trouble: "Like I said, why do you post things when you obviously know little about football and Iowa's technique? " That one sort of came out of left field and can be considered an insult.

Sometimes I do wonder if you know much at all about football, but I've never said it. I personally don't have the time to go back and run through plays. Some people watch for microcosms in a game. Some people are better at seeing the whole field. Others are better at the psychology of the game. All of those are important aspects. I know coaches who are fantastic at X's and O's and will never have a winner team because one of the other approaches is needed.

Not many coaches have all of that down. A few do or they have people around them that can fill in. HF was a master at that. KF isn't. HF was in more trouble when coaches left him. KF not so much.

Besides the starter that I've coached, I know a few other kids on the team and their parents. So don't sit there and tell me what YOU THINK YOU KNOW! You know nothing! In my town, people ask me on a regular basis about the Hawks, what they are doing and love watching the games with me because they 'love' hearing what I see that they don't!!! I'm also very good friends with 2 incoming Hawkeye basketball players parents.....one who was a QB for Iowa in the early 80's, which is how I was able to start a thread about a BB player and who he was 'recruiting' and we just got him!!! So I'm guessing he's some assistant coach who has learned all the terms but doesn't have the ability to successfully apply them.

Kinda like the poker player who reads all the books and watched it on TV so he can sound smart when talking about it in general, but when he tells you about a specific hand he played, he sounds like a clueless idiot.

But is he really that informed and knowledgeable? From his talk with Game film it seemed like a one was right and one was blowing smoke situation. I know which one I would put my money on being right. None of us are studying the tape to see if what he says is complete bs or not.

Also for a guy who is supposed to know it all, he's made some really really bad arguments. Ones that have to make you question if he really knows what he's saying in the posts we don't follow. For instance saying ISU wasn't doubling JJ because he was dominating but because of where we were lining him up. Or that a qb can't be the difference in a close game.

Except that I didn't do it for gratification and if you think about it, you should understand that. In the time I've been on this board this is the first time I've ever spewed my 'credentials' but after the constant 'personal' attacks, I had had enough. I didn't say these things out of 'admiring my own attributes', but when people basically insult my 'family'. I have no desire to 'impress' anyone on this board and have absolutely nothing to gain attempting to, There are many aspects to narcissism, you chose a facet that served your purpose, but 'true' narcissists' are never wrong, and I have admitted that I am wrong on numerous occasions and I was wrong for creating the post in reference, which is why I deleted it within hours. I'm not going to argue with you anymore, it's futile....

Again, you could have done yourself a lot of good, but you have to turn it around albeit much less abrasively. Quit calling me stupid things and I'll quit calling you out. It's simple. If you have a beef with others, don't take it out on me. I'm neither stupid nor am I clueless on coaching. I have no idea who insulted your family but it wasn't me. I have mildly got on you when apparently in frustration with others you take it out on me. You threw out the Narcissist word at me and that was totally uncalled for.

If you don't like my posts, OK say so. Don't make it personal. I'm wrong on a number of things as well. I was wrong about KFs ability to rebuild after the rhabdo situation. I didn't think he could change philosophy on qb and play calling either. I was wrong. I didn't want him hired in the first place and turns out...I was wrong.

There are things I wish he'd do differently. You are welcome to disagree. Insult me and I'll call you out.
