If you would have said hole post, it would have been funnier! :)

Even funnier if you read the first post allowed...

**Edit - Defeated by a quicker post...well played Section136!

Reading it allowed back to myself, you are right, it would have been funnier that way.
Much better. Thanks for the effort. :)

You don't know what you are saying.

Its obvious that the Cubs are worthless so that part is true. Now for the over pitching part Wood first full seasons with the Cubs had 26 full starts rookie of the year only cost him Tommy John surgery. Mark Prior first full year with cubs first full seasons with the Cubs 30 starts a full slate was 18-6 with a .243. Only made 57 career starts after that full season. Both Pitchers were completely mis handled by the Cubs. Prior in his first full year threw 211 innings for a power pitcher that is a lot.

Do you happen to be related to a herbyhawk?

You do realize that most pitchers recover from the injuries that Prior had, right? Prior let the injuries get to his head and he let it affect the way he pitched. It was the first time he had ever been hurt and he did not know how to handle it.

Wasn't Prior a stud coming out of college, both with the bat and pitching? After his injury, why didn't he give the Rick Ankiel path a shot?

Maybe I'm wrong, as I stopped following MLB following the 1994 strike, but I can recall just enough to be dangerous...

:(

Woody and I are the same age, I watched his 20k game in my dorm room in Quad. So, in addition to sad, this makes me feel old.

Props to AJ for clapping.

The father / son moment was awesome.

I don't think AJ is as big a ****** as some people make him out to be, between the lines sure but off the field I think he is a pretty good dude.

As for the father/son moment, being a Cubs fan, playing baseball for most of my life, and having two sons, I had no chance when his son came out of the dugout. So cool to be able to go out on your own terms and be able to share that with your kid forever. So Awesome.

he struck out his first and last batter be faced. my only question is why did the organist play "I did it my way" instead of "my kind of town Chicago" when he walked off?
