Conference Games Today

tOSU was 4 from 22 from the 3-point line today. Also, they gave Purdue a whole lot of open looks from 3-range. That may have been the strategy though, because Purdue has no outside shooters.

I bet all 4 came from Craft's assist. Seemed like whenever he would penetrate he'd dish to a teammate for a 3.

Craft was great today. It was amazing when the buckeyes started to pull away it was really due to his play but he wasn't even shooting, just making plays with his penetration and passes.

Cannot stand Groce...drives me nuts, he, Chambers and Izzo are the biggest babies on the sidelines, followed up by Bobo.

Hey folks...would Dan Crotch Itch take Aaron Craft No. 1 if he could coach a team for one year?

Not sure if he has told the story 7 times during this game as every other game.

Reminds me of the Aaron White story being locked in the locker room overnight

Hey everyone how are those new rules working out? If the OSU/Purdue game is an indication...well, same officials, same ole stuff.

Agreed.

Sparty better turn on their elite defense (hand checking). They are struggling with Penn state. Maybe they need some tips on what to say in the officials' ears from A Craft. I'm sure it will come before the end of the game.

Penn State is not a pushover. I think they may win this game.

Craft controlled the game for the most part. The Big Ten teams I have watched all looked very good and even, home and away.....

Penn State has been playing MSU well, but the Spartans are starting to show their quality.....

We finally get it together, thanks to Fran and Company and the B1G looks very tough and solid.,,,,

We can do it, but it looks tougher that I thought it would be. Simply an opening day observation.....

I'm with ya. Sometimes I think we forget how much of a grind the Conference schedule is and how difficult it is to win on the road.

I am pretty sure Tom Izzo and Pat Chambers not only gave each other a loving hug, but kissed each other on the cheek.

It definitely won't be easy. I do think this is pretty normal for the first 2 or 3 games. Everyone thinks they have a shot. Everyone is pretty fresh. Depth isn't as important. As teams start getting beat up a bit and start 0-4 or 1-5 they get a feel for what is likely to happen. The cream tends to rise to the top over the course of 18 games. I'm really not worried at all. Seriously.
