Complaining about the officiating is annoying

The refs werent great - some calls were absolutely brutal, but they are not the reason Iowa lost. Iowa had plenty of chances and gave the game away with sloppy play and careless turnovers.

Complaining about refs which happens after every loss is so annoying
 
like fran stated early in the year, the technicals are not about being ****** it's about getting respect and equal oppurtunity. if you thin McCabe got a fair shake today your just as bad as the officals today!

If we had a decent official in that game, we would have by 10 if Northwestern didn't get a whole bunch of offensive rebounds and if Iowa could find a point guard who was as good as a freshman from out by Downers Grove - Sobolewski might be Vintage's kid.

Other than McCabe's last foul the calls on him were fine. He plays sloppy out of position defense and has no one to blame but himself for constantly being in foul trouble. Is it a coincidence he cant stay on the floor over the last month?

His 5th foul was horrible tho
 
Iowa lost 9 games in conference this year, many of them most fans weren't too anal about the refs.

This one, fans have every right to be ******. THey were so inconsistent and so bad, it was criminal.

Iowa beat themselves today, the refs didn't lose it for Iowa. That said, they were craptastic. So bad.

If you remove the blowout losses more than half the games there has been ample complaining about the refs. People are seriously talking about the games being rigged

********! see it how you want to chief but along with his last call a couple more were questionable at best to. a foul is a foul on both sides of the court.
 
Refs making calls 35 ft from the action drive me absolutely nuts.

I'm not going to get into just how bad they were today. They were, though.

And like I said above, complaining about the refs isn't the same as saying they lost the game for a team. If you aren't complaining about the refs today, you weren't paying attention.

herby, McCabe is in foul trouble every game because is not good at defense and he is playing out of position. The refs arent out to get him EVERY game

Neither are SEC football games. Anyway, NU simply wanted that game way more than Iowa did and Iowa's atrocious play at the end of the first half in the face of the 1-3-1, failure to box out for long stretches and inability to do anything with the rock at the end of the game were the reasons we lost, not the officials.

The refs ****** on mccabe all day long and the fouls calles on him were an utter joke.
