It's the same people who won't shut the **** up about how tough Indiana's schedule is!!
I don't remember anyone actually saying that Indiana's schedule was tough, merely that they are better than what Herby thinks.

Dwyane Wade coached that team! Herby is an idiot and has some crazy *** rants, but his Crean isn't a good game coach argument is not that crazy. It was a knock on him at Marquette at too.
Didn't Indiana beat Kentucky last year? I believe he said Crean can't coach. I think he has proven otherwise (IMO of course). And, he can recruit.![]()
Crean is a good head coach, no doubt about it. There have been valid criticisms of his in-game coaching, but it is Herby and you're right saying he can't coach is insane. This is just one of Herby's crazy rants that happen to catch a little bit of truth.
Herby's weird anti-Indiana tirade is the best thing since...well...ever. There is nothing better than this really.
Am I wrong in thinking that he argued that Gatens was going to be an NBA player last year and now that he's on the team he pretty much argues that he sucks?
Oh man what a great read.
What I love about herby is that ppl will pose reasonable explanations or even reasonable questions back to herby, and he never responds. Ever. Its like clockwork. He must be the greatest troll in the history of the interwebs. I'm seriously impressed.
We lose to plenty of teams, including Campbell and Nebraska and go to NIT. We then start 3 freshman the next year. Indiana finishes 5th in the B10, makes the sweet 16. Their starting 5 is all returning.
Seems the same to me.
What is really funny is herby gets a bunch of Hawk fans defending Indiana and Crean. You would think this thread was posted on a Hoosier forum.
It's crazy. He has ppl liking Indiana and hating Olesani. Magical work.
This is the craziest...most people would be loving on the depth that olaseni brings and his development but because of herby we end up just trying to get him to understand who gabe is for the team. He is a solid role player that could still develop nicely but he isn't a guy we can count on consistently yet. Herby takes comments like that and twists them into hating on gabe.
last years starters for Indiana
Zeller
Watford
Oladipo
Hulls
Sheehey
just what changed that suddenly make Indiana a top 5 team and the favorite to win the BT

Iowa loses just May next year, brings in Uthoff, Jok, and Meyer.
Do you think they will be predicted to finish higher than this year?
Man, basketball is so hard to understand, ain't it?

Iowa "ADDED" 4 freshman to a team, of which 3 are starting, that returns 5 of their top 6 scorers and 6 of their top 8 scorers,
these 6 players played a big role in beating Indiana at home
all that has happened for Iowa is now rather than starting the bench as gotten deeper and better, which gives Fran a very solid rotation of 10-11 players vs a bench of Brom/Arch.
most of you act like Iowa lost their entire starting lineup and Fran is starting from scratch like Lick was constantly doing.
as for Indiana making the sweet 16, SO WHAT, 15 other teams made the sweet 16, I son't see a 16 way tie for 1st place,
and for the record by ESPN Indiana's class was rated 11th best, with MSU getting the 8th best class, making MSU with best incoming class in ther BT, Michigan and 14th best class, Purdues class was rated 19th and Iowa was rated 25th.
sorry but Indiana did not get the #1 recruiting class, that honor went to UCLA.
