Common Sense Question For Staff on Martin

What exactly has Martin shown that proves he needs to take touches from any of those guys? What would have Martin changed in Saturday's game, or any of our losses even?

What exactly have any of those guys shown that proves their play needs to be supplemented by anyone else? We're getting the best production out of our WR core since 2011.

It's also been pretty strongly hinted at that Martin has been banged up most of the year and is definitely not 100%.

The Max Cooper stuff is blown way out of proportion. He has one catch on the season, and probably 3 targets at most. He's not taking any receptions away from our top 3/4, and neither would Martin. At the very worst, he solved our problem of our PR team giving away field position by taking

Once again, you are complaining about a nonexistent problem solely for complaining's sake.

And why not out on special teams? Can he tackle or return punts? If he were ready that would be the place to start him out.

Talk about a good problem to have... The WR position for the first time since McNutt and DJK were running around out there is a strength and we are bitching about who the 4th/5th WR should be getting reps. Unreal.

I wish we would bitch more about who the guards are and why we haven't been able to run the ball better. You know things that would actually significantly improve the outcome of games. Who our 4th WR is hardly moves that needle.... Come on guys

Agreed at the G situation, though a good deal of it has to be health related.

Schott's return has improved our G play immensely. We got a steal with him walking on.

I fully expect Britt to be a starter come next season. He was KF's hand picked recruit of the 2019 class. I figured it would come earlier, but his injury during the BYE week may have caused them to slow down with him and preserve his RS.

Banwart is solid when healthy, but he can't stay healthy. Linderbaum's emergence pushed him here.

Both Paulsen's have been serviceable, but shaky, and are gone after this year.

Kallenberger will be manning LT for the next 2 years, and is probably a better fit there anyways.

Ince is still young but getting plenty of experience.

Jenkins has yet to see the field, but has talent, Miller and Endres are candidates for the Iowa "Play G Until a T Spot Opens Up" plan, and I'm sure there's other young guys waiting in the wings.
