Comcast updates?

True as a whole Hulu is probably cheaper. However Comcast is included in our neighborhood association fees and it comes bundled with our internet, so in the end, we’d be looking at $10 or so difference, when you factor in paying for Hulu+. The problem is my wife doesn’t want to give up cable and I’m tired of arguing about it like everything else.

Here's where you went wrong!

Valid point about the wifey comment. They have to be on board.

Nah, man, we had a deal like that at our old place and the Condo Association was able to get a deal that was something like 50% under retail pricing on the condition everyone in the building had Comcast. Those multifamily developments are a great way for the cable companies to juice their subscriber numbers because if you have Comcast bundled with your HOA dues, you can't cut the cord unless you can take over the board.

I tried the free 1 week trial with Hulu several years ago and immediately cancelled it so I wouldnt forget and get charged but it also cancelled my trial, so I will never use them again based on principle.

I'm told Hulu has a deal with ACC Network as well and the ACC is loading a fair amount of what they deem to be marquis games onto ACC Network.
This is confirmed and I’m stoked. They have the first three weeks’ schedule Out and there are some decent games on it. The first week Clemson plays Georgia Tech.

I’m a fan of all college football and the more of it I have access to the better as far as I’m concerned. Hulu is definitely the best sports option by far per dollar for me.

$45 a month gets me 7 ESPNs, ABC, NBC sports for Chicago stuff and cycling, Golf Network, regular Fox, FS1 and FS2, three of the P5 networks (wouldn’t watch the B12 network even if I had it). For college sports there isn’t a better option out there.
