He's an Alabama/OSU/Texas/Michigan level RB and the crap I saw our "fans" spewing in the game thread leads me to believe we don't deserve him, so I ask, what will the football gods do to deprive us of his services?

A) Academics
B) Arrest/Other Violation of Team Rules
C) Injury
D) Transfer/Quits Team

Who's our last legit starting RB who made it through 3 consecutive seasons on the roster? I have a bad feeling.

What the hell guys? RB has been cursed at Iowa, I want the guy to stick, I'm just wondering what the football gods are going to do to deprive us of his services. The dude's clearly a legit NFL ball player, but I've seen Iowa lose so many RBs over the past decade, I'm worried as hell.

I think Jon D. Miller said it best but everyone knows O4P is probably acting like an idiot just to insight the true HawkeyeNation. I don't even believe he's a fan....probably one of those jealous Cyclone lovers.

I'm not bad mouthing the program, I'm pointing out that I've seen A LOT of talented RBs come and go at Iowa and after reading tonight's game thread, it appears that the football gods owe the fans some punishment.

Coker has made it clear that he came to Iowa due to Shawn Greene. He wants to follow in his footsteps on the field. He started that tonight by breaking a few of his records! Go Hawks.

My money says he gets a smart phone and flunks out due to an internet porn addiction. Some people just aren't able to handle that much power.

Heck yeah he did, I just pray that he doesn't follow Shonn Greene to moving furniture and attending class at the University of Southern Cedar Rapids for a season. Ferentz better hire a guy just to shadow him given our bad luck and hire a witch doctor to fight off the injury bug. The guy is too good to lose.

LOL so true....but I enjoy the verbal sparring I have with him on a daily basis because if common sense were bombs Okeefe4Prez wouldn't have enough to blow his nose.

Not sure I'd pat Coker on the back as much as we are. Great game by him, but I'd give most of the praise to our OL, most of us could have run through those holes tonight. He did impress me with his speed on the long run and loved him bowling over the DB on another! Showed some good durability considering we never really subbed him out of the game, but for every Coker thread I see between now and August, there really needs to be 2 times as many for our OL play tonight. Reminded me a lot of our Orange Bowl effort against G Tech last year in the 4th quarter. Everyone and their dog knew we were going to run the ball and we still pounded it down their throat!
