If he gets his **** together he can be on campus January 2013 at the earliest. That's only if he graduates at the winter semester. He can not be at Iowa any sooner.

I hope he makes it. He is a very good athlete and if he does enroll at Iowa he would have 3 years to play 2,giving him a chance to really learn the d-end position.
He might have a Leroy Smith kind of career at d-end. Leroy was another rb that converted and did not really play until his junior year...then exploded to lead the nation in sacks. Come on down,Rodney!

I hope he makes it as well. I hope he is making the most of this time now and walks into IC and plays like a wild man. I like stories like his, it really shows what a person is made of and just how bad they want it.

Yup. Shonn Green. (Not sure if that's how he spells his name or not, no disrespect intended)

If I were an Iowa coach, I would tell him to just skip playing this fall at IWCC to focus on school work and lifting. Is there really a benefit to playing another year of JUCO at this point? Plus, if he can get his AA by December, he can get in on Spring Practice.

Ya there would be a huge benefit to playing on DL full time this upcoming year, last year he played mostly RB and if he could get a full year at DL he could possibly come in and contribute right away. For someone who has played RB the his whole life I would imagine it would be a pretty big transition to the line although an expected one.
