Clemson Changing QB’s

So, he may just decide to stay at Bama and ride out the last two seasons with little injury risk and an occasional mop-up job.
No way he stays. The fvcking media is just ridiculous. It's damn near as bad as playing for the Yankees. After every touchdown they jam a camera in Jalen's face to see his reaction and then go armchair psychiatrist. No effin' way he sits through another year of that.

Dabo said that he made the call after 4 games to give Kelly flexibility to redshirt if he desired. Look, it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see that Kelly ain't gonna beat Alabama. I don't think Lawrence will either, but his vastly superior arm makes him more likely to do it than Kelly. And Dabo knows he only has him for 3 years. No sense in wasting one of them. Best hope for Clemson is for Lawrence to develop this year and next year and then torch Bama in 2020 when Tua is gone.

He made the call before the season started. He just waited til game four to confirm his intent. Like Saban, and like Kelly at ND, the more racist coaches who have no media accountability don't mind demoting black QBs. Who's going to call Saban out? Who's going to call Swinney or Kelly out?

Notice how Keith Olbermann is nowhere NEAR a microphone or camera these days? Don't think it ain't by design. He'd be SCREAMING out against this blatant racism.

Oh, wait, I'm not logged in under that "alt"...

Alabama players are getting their money and if you don’t believe that, you are living in an incredibly naive world...
Evidence? Look, you can tell when an SEC team is paying guys because some team like Ol Miss, Tennessee or Arkansas will suddenly get really good. The top few teams have so much local talent that wants to go there that they ain't paying guys, but when you see guys like Treadwell from Illinois commit to Ol Miss, then you know some shit is going down. The really top guys are very leery of money because they don't want to get framed like Tunsil did.

Then he better hope Tua don't get hurt. He shuts it down now, he gets two more seasons at FAU with Kiffin.

WTF are you talking about? Have you even watched the relative performance of the QBs in question? Yeah, Dabo, who brought in Taj Boyd and DeShaun Watkins, is gonna bench a star QB because he's black. Do you do nothing but watch race pimps on ESPN all frickin' day?

I'm hearing that Nebraska has already contacted Kelly Bryant. It is a longshot, but I would find it interesting in the huskers did land the transfer. I'm not sure if the kid could help them win a game or 2.

And...game one of the Lawrence Era sees him going down with an injury, maybe (from the looks of it) a concussion or neck injury. Thank God the kid walked off the field on his own and without assistance.

Amazing that changing QBs could come back to bite Dabo in the very first game post-switch.

Even more amazing, game 5...and Jalen Hurts is playing for Bama. I would have guessed he would also shut it down and redshirt/transfer to have two seasons to play with Kiffin at FAU.

Either the kid doesn't care, or the Bama "crew" has kept the cash coming.

Curb your enthusiasm theme plays at uncomfortably loud levels

Well, Syracuse is leading Clemson 23-13 right now, as we speak, at the start of the fourth quarter.....

I do like to see the mighty fall flat on their faces.....

Not unlike the Buckeyes last season at Kinnick.....

Touchdown, Clemson

That didn't take long.....

Just waiting for the Ohio State at Penn State game today. That should be quite entertaining. Might give us a hint of what we will be up against later on this season. I do painfully remember the last game at State College.....

Total embarrassment.....

Totally pulling for OSU. The lesser of two evils.

Kirk is watching this Clemson thing play out and all his seniors just got bumped to first string. A thank you for not being bolting. Not saying it’s right or wrong what either Dabo or Kelly Bryant did.

The freshman QB has the best arm of anyone I've seen as a true freshman. Speculation around here is they'll still give Kelly a few series to keep the defense off balance and go with the hotter hand each week. Clemson's conference schedule is just about as soft as Iowa's, maybe softer, and they have 4 first or second round picks starting on the d-line, so they have a lot of luxuries about messing with the offense. They have a singular goal of figuring out how the hell they are gonna beat Alabama in the playoffs and given Tua's abilities and the soft secondary, their theory is that they'll have to score like 50 points so they are just trying to figure out how to get there.

Welp, they could have gotten to 51 had they not kneeled at the end. Wowsers. That team is just on another level.

Stanley is a nice young man. The type you want to marry your daughter. He's smart, says the right things and even has plenty of natural athletic ability. And most important, he's a yes man willing and able to follow orders. He's a lot like Rudock. If he's surrounded by greatness he can follow along to some great destination, but he won't elevate lesser men to greatness.

Ya know what Tate and CJB had in common? They weren't yes men. But they did make those around them better. They inspired their teammates. Taking a knee was antithetical to their personality. CJB was told not to score against a rival and he did it anyway.

Padilla/Petras/Mansell - I think one or more of those guys would be better for Iowa in 2019.

"Based on what dumbass. You're a hater. You should kill yourself. Stanley has won a pair of bowl games while you sit in your own filth and make chocolate cake out of your crap"

Thank you kind sir for the feedback. I don't hate Stanley and I don't hate Moss. But there are better options on this team in 2019. And there might have been in 2018 (assuming Weigers was in the mix) as well. What do I base these crazy opinions on you ask? Just a gut feeling.
