Chevin Calloway

What the? Did I just read that correctly?

Yep, who else do you blame? The difference between you and me is you think it is because he is Lazy, or because his ego, or because he is stubborn, or some other nonsense. To me the simple fact is you are going to lose more recruiting battles than you win. Calloway decided he wanted to go somewhere else, so he gone. Of course it is KF and staffs fault, but not for the reasons you think.

KF definitely seems to appear lazy compared to other coaches out there. You can only develop so much and there's a reason why with our fan base and facilities we've been bringing in mediocre classes lately

And you know this how? Icke tell you?

Source for KF being lazy?

With what we have to offer there is no way we should have averaged the 56th best recruiting class the last 4 years. Without Calloway we are sitting at 34th now and will most likely end up in the mid 40's thanks to a legacy recruit

Until Ferentz steps back and hires coaches that are allowed to think for themselves and run an innovative and diverse offense and defense, Iowa will never sign and keep top recruits.

We know it's not fun to watch Iowa. Recruits realize it well before they get to Iowa. Anyone who enjoys playing football and has the ability to go elsewhere is more likely to do so after watching this garbage dump of a gameplan every week. SORRY-Fact.

It is funny that you think KF is lazy, or any D1 head coach for that matter. I'd be willing to bet 1000 to 1 that nearly every D1 Head coach works more by Wednesday evening than you put in all week long and on the weekend.

That's totally irrelevant to the situation. I don't know if he's lazy or not. I do know something is very smelly about his deal. Take out last years lightning in a bottle and what has he accomplished? I think it is something else. What that something else is should be policed by the university, authorities and those in authority of Barta and KF. The media should be all over the contract.

I preface things by the word....think...

You choose the word fact....

Again the question.... You know this fact how?

Just curious to know what is the average salary for the coaches whose recruiting classes average 54th, 55th, 56th, 57th and 58th? That information could be very enlightening. Something's tells me they don't have the level of facilities that we have either.

Yeah, KF refused to call the kid cause he is da lazy recruiter, don't cha know. True story.
I have a feeling KF isn't a lazy recruiter but when he tells players and recruits not to do something he'll stick to his word till the end. It goes over well with 3 star recruits and their parents but not so well with players/parents who want special treatment. I wish Eno and Calloway were coming to Iowa but Kirk is Kirk. He may not have the success as Saban and Belichick but do you see a difference between Belichick Kirk when dealing with players. Eno broke Kirk's rule on taking visits, it's as simple as that. We can be excited, AJ is coming. He's a game changer.

I don't think AJ alone can impact the future. Now AJ with some other studs, then ya got a chance. Now if this were basketball . . .

AJ can't do it alone but he is a leader and his play can inspire others to step up or influence better recruits to come.
Eno has great leadership qualities. If he was still coming I believe he and AJ could have really recruited great players to come to Iowa.

I know neither of us are writing this class off. It can still finish strong and yes, AJ can play a role in that outcome.
